| ![]() So I took my four cousins to the ameusment park today (all aged 13) We had a great time and all, but DAMN!!! I am certain I don't want to have children! (skin children ![]() Now I am not a boring cousin, so we went hard, got there at 10 left at 5 and had a blast!! BUT I am so intensly exhausted! I was dripping wet when I get home and had to take off *everything*... took a bath and now I just woke up from a night nap. I think I feel worse! my body aches and I think I'm coming down with the flu now in need of some serious ![]() Gosh, how do yoll mothers do it? I have so much respect for you guys! (great thing about having a yorkie baby is, when I said "night nap Ziggy" he curled up next to me and went straight to sleep, gotta love him ![]() *time for a glass of wine

| ![]() HA! I was just talking to one of my co-workers who is 25 about this very topic. At 25 I had no desire to have children but I can tell you I can't imagine my life now without my sweet boy Isaiah. Even the nights that he doesn't want to go to sleep or the mornings where he doesn't want to brush his teeth (which obviously is mandatory) I am so thankful for him. I have the most respect for single Moms....my husband and I are equal partners in all aspects of our partnership.

| ![]() hehehe, Morgan I am 25 ![]() I don't know if this feeling will ever go away. My close friend is 9 months pregnant and she too did not want kids, but it happened (she's been with her partner for 10 years now) My mom is a single parent and I know what you mean I so respect her strength. And you sound like an amazing mommy to Isaiah (that's him in your avator right? he's so cute!) I use to want babies and wedding and all, but the more I mature, the less I want such things (I have just "helped raise" too many children, as I am one of the elder youths in my family) I think I'm going to stick to spoiling my baby cousins (I have 6 of them so you can imagine!!!) and soon to be little "nephew" ![]()

| ![]() I'm 25 too and I have absolutely no desire to have children right now. I just babysat my 5 month old niece for five hours the other day and I was absolutely exhausted. I think I will just enjoy my nieces and nephew forever ![]()

| ![]() We raised 4 children. 2 boys 2 girls. Believe me, we were running ragged when they got big enough for sports. Had to be at 3 ballfields at the same time. That`s where grandma comes in. lol. You get used to things as you get the kids. Not a worry. I also did child care in my home. lol I think that`s why my daughter doesn`t want kids. |

I'm so lucky because my mom is very young (in her early 40. she got married to her high school sweet heart right after high school, they got divorced 16 years later). So she fully supports the idea of never having to be called ........... granma ![]() p.s. from someone who is still a baby with a mom with 3 children, I have to say how awesome you must be to have raised 4 children!! ![]()

♥Love My 3 Furrbutts♥ Donating Member | ![]() I raised three children one girl, now 27 and two boys ages 23 and 21...alone. It was crazy for a while there when my youngest decided he wanted to play rep ball. Racing all over the province to get this child to whatever basketball tournament or game he was playing in, and working full time! Not to toot my own horn, but i did a dang good job. Daughter is a nurse, two boys in school...one in second year University (the youngest), the older boy in humber college. Was it hard hell yeah!! Would i do it again.....hmmmmm probably not, i would have stopped at one...love them dearly but man not at all easy! Dad was a deadbeat, so I just did what I needed to do. Aside from my furbabies, they enrich and fill my life with joy. My daughter has no desire to be a mom, I respect her for that.. it looks like the 6ft 5in basketball player will be the one to make me a granny! I can wait though. At this point in my life I'm good. I have twin neice and nephew...9years old...what a handful! I say to my sister all the time your're good ...me I'm with them an hour and I'm exhausted!! She has hubby to help, but geez...9YEAR OLD TWINS!! At 25 i was out partying my backside off, two years later along came my daughter...she wasnt planned and I was little older, it still wasn't easy. How do we do it? we just do....you will know IF and/or when you are ready.

![]() ![]() ![]() You know the funny thing is I'm not into the party scene anymore. I've been partying since I was 17, I'm over it. I pretty much spend my days building my company, loving on Ziggy or have lunch/dinner with friends. I'm more of a home body, so I know its not that. I like my life this way. I would like to meet a nice young man who also does NOT want kids and is content with "our" furbabies! Then I will be even happier with my life! Its great to hear woman talking about just how hard it is. A lot of the time people don't tell you the whole story. But because I have seen it first hand it all just confirms my stance!lol I'll stick to ![]()

| ![]() ooohhh put it like this.. Im closer to 36 than 35 at this point.. YES... 3-5! I have NO desire to have kids. My husband has an 18 year old and a 16 year old. I am starting to get a tiny bit of empty nest syndrome because we did have fun when we had the kids and they were younger and we could do things that are not really acceptable when you don't have kids... like arcades and go karts! LOL So I kind of miss the kids at ages 10-15, but once they hit 16, they are no longer kids, no longer much fun, and no longer around much. We have no desire to start over now. YIKES! I have a 1 & 3 year old nephews... they are SOOOOOO much work. Cry over everything, need to watched, changed, fed, taken care of, carried.... ugh! love them and love to visit them .. after 2-3 hours Im done! LOL
