| men do not understand saving money... apparently. I recently quit my job due to my health and we have all these medical bills coming in. So I am not getting to put any money in my personal bank acct. I hate it of course, i know money has to go to bills and we need to curb spending, but I saved money! I had some bonus certificates from old navy that come in when you use their credit card. So i ordered 3 shirts for a subtotal of 52.50 which gave me free shipping (saved 7.00), they had 15 % disc on everything (saved 7.88) and I saved 30.00 with the bonus certif. they did add tax of 1.35. my total order going on the credit card was 15.97. so i SAVED 37.88. at least that is my math. I did talk to dh before using the credit card to make sure finances were ok enough to order. but he does not see it as saving money. Anyone else agree with my math? |

| I agree !!! You think like me. I bought a new refirgerator with the same math. I tell everyone I got a 2,900.00 refrigerator for $600.00... it was marked down to $900.00 (a small dent in the handel.. and a scratch that is covered with art work). Now.. how to I say $600.00... well I WAS going to buy a deep freezer for the garage, but because I got a new refrigerator I could move the old one to the garge and that saved me ..... $300.00 So I got an amazing french door bottom freezer with ice in the door refriderator for ...... >600.00 BTW.. what dh says is.. we needed a new refrigerator like a whole in the head.. nothing wrong with the old one ( geezzee he doesn't know anything) but I could not pass up the deal!!! I really think it was a mistake on sear's part. So J... do YOU like my math????

| Love it. Did I really need the shirts? Well, i do have a lot of dr appts still coming up. My mom thought of that reason. LOL. She agreed the deal sounded great. Good to know I am not the only one who does math this way.

| If you needed the items for your wardrobe, needed a little shop theropy (life has been a bit stressful for you) and enjoyed the challenge, then it was a good hunt. I have had to keep my shop theropy to dollar tree,BigLots and GoodWill this summer. It sounds like you had a very good time and have something to show for it. |

| Of course that's saving money! Even if you didn't need the clothes, at that price why pass it up?! I love Old Navy, they have great deals. I also have their credit card and love the bucks back program. Btw, I've been wanting to get the cardigan you posted on the first link but was waiting for it to go on sale. I totally forgot about it until you posted it so I'm off to buy it now that it's over half off! Thanks for posting it. |
