| Ew, that's a hard one I don't dislike any actresses that much to want to see them take on a role like this.

| I think it would need to be somebody who resembles her a bit. I'm still trying to think of someone. And I wonder if actresses will line up for the juicy role or many will shy away from it.

| kristen stewart, absolutely could pull this off...but would she want to? This is one of those roles that can ruin a career. I am still distressed about a thread on here to remember one such actor, but if I think of it I will let you know.

| I wonder if it would make an unknown actress famous or infamous? As long as it is a movie about the case, I wouldn't think really it would brand anyone if they did a good job on it but one never knows. I think the animosity people had & have is toward Casey Anthony profiting from the child's death won't be at play here so they may be eager to see a movie of the story and some supposed insights, sidelights, etc., that the public weren't privy to during the case. I think Kristen Stewart could do a good job, too. She can look quite calculating!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Charlize Theron played serial killer Aileen Wuornos, and because the makeup made her look so much like Aileen, I don't think many people thought of Charlize when they saw the movie, or for that matter thought of Aileen when they saw Charlize in her own makeup. What I'm trying to say, is if they use makeup to create a look-a-like, it shouldn't hurt anyone's career. 220px-Charlize_Theron_by_Gage_Skidmore.jpg Charlize monster9.jpg Charlize as Aileen monster2.jpg Charlize as Aileen aw2.jpg The real Aileen I think Shannon Doherty could do a good job at it and it if she does, it would help her career.

| I agree. I did not see that movie but the takes & promo's I've seen from it didn't make me think of the actress at all - just that murderer.

I think Charlize Theron did such a good job in her portrayal too. I can honestly say I think people dislike Anthony more than Wournos. What does everyone else think? Sorry not trying to go off topic.

| Oh, I think you are right about people disliking Anthony more. Anytime anyone is even remotely suspected of hurting a child, much less killing one, they are usually despised. Not to mention the lack of grieving, lying over & over to police & the cold way she often acted & spoke on those jailhouse videos after she apparently knew her child was dead & disposed of. Children are totally vulnerable & totally innocent, unlike Wuornos' victims who I think were all adult men(not very familiar with that case), who, one might say at least had a fighting chance, unlike little Caylee Anthony.
