| Any coupon queens/kings here? I've just started clipping coupons and I'm waiting to enroll in an extreme coupon class. I went to Publix today and with their BOGO deals and my coupons, I saved $92.34 on a month's worth of food. My total bill was $196.66. I also went to Walgreen's and bought 12 packs of soft drinks, 4/$11. The drinks, laundry detergent, paper towels, they had Hellman's mayo $2.99 with a coupon, etc were less than $45. I'm basically set for the next month other than buying milk, eggs and bread. Just wondering if anyone else does this and if you have any tips? I'll share mine when I take the class. Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I'm a wannabe coupon queen. I have good weeks and bad weeks. Did you see the program on TLC the other day called Extreme Couponing? Those people were unbelievable. I'm not great at matching up the sales and coupons myself. I like southernsavers.com to help me out. I was also on TheGroceryGame.com for awhile, but their lists were always "off" for my area. Plus, it didn't make sense to pay for TGG when SS is free. Couponmom.com is another good free site, plus it has a coupon data base to help you locate coupons for the sales in your area.

| Coupon newbie and in the last month or so I am positively addicted!! Grocery store trips have been very limited lately, since I'm getting a ton of stuff at Rite Aid and CVS for free and next to nothing! Just yesterday I went to Rite Aid and got 8 boxes of Special K cereal, 6 Reach toothbrushes, 6 packages of Stayfree pads and 2 Velveeta n' cheese shells dinners. Grand total you ask? $2.70, plus $13 in "rewards" to spend on my next trip!!!

If you see some good deals on items that you want to stock up on, and there are coupons for them, you can buy coupons from Coupon clippers on the internet.

| You'll have fun! They have a great program too, where you get 'Extra Care Bucks' back on your purchases to spend on your next purchase. The key is to combine sales with manufacturer coupons and extra care bucks. Then, roll those extra bucks so that you are continually getting stuff for free or almost free. I've made it into a game and I beat the house on a regular basis!

You can use both, but the number of coupons can't exceed the number of items. I usually end up buying a pack of gum or such just to get the number even if I need to. I did find that when the new Walgreens opened here, that I had to pull out a copy of their policy and speak with the manager before they would honor it.

| I have no idea how register rewards works. I've clipped out of the past two Sunday papers. The lady behind me wasn't too happy, but I did wait until mid morning on a weekday to try to eliminate huffing and puffing from the person behind me. I was pretty pumped to save almost $94 and I didn't buy anything that wont be eaten. I'm excited to find out more! |

If you have a Facebook, there's a site you can like called MyCouponExpert. I guess once all the abbreviations and such make sense it will be better. My husband has a FB friend that took the class and she always posts her receipt for Publix. She spends $60 some dollars and saves 3 times that. That's what I want to do!!

Today they had it for Pantene. But 2 pantene itemsd for $7 and get $2 in register rewards. Then I had two coupons for $3 off two pantene items. So I bought 4 Pantene items and used my two $3 coupons making it 2 items for $4, then got a $2 register reward for each purchase which made them $1 each. Normal prices is $3.50 each.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Right. You can't use 2 coupons for 1 granola bar. But you can use 2 coupons when you have, say a granola bar and an eraser. Or 1 granola bar and 1 item you had a raincheck for. The system does allow it, it's just that most of the cashiers don't know how to do it. This is another good site for info about Walgreens: i heart wags There is a similar site for CVS: i heart cvs
