| Doxie's can fly! I have to tell you all a real good story about my flying Doxie. I went to work on Monday and decided to gate my 4 month old JackJack, He was ina big enough room where he would not get hurt or into anything, I fed him in the morning and left his water on the floor, I was gone for 4 1/2 hours returning in with enthusiasm to see my baby and how he did. I walked through my front door to find all I mean every single pair of shoes scattered in my living room. I was like what the heck, I turned to the room I had gated jack in and to find him NOT there, he was in my bedroom with our other dog Sasha( boogle) They both come running out ti greet me. Iwas like jackjack how did you get out? The gate was still up tight as can be and still locked. I said ok he either jumped it or climbed it. The Yesterday I put him in the gated area agani so he could eat privately, to my amazement I watched him literally go back to my sons bedroom door and take a running jump fly over the 41/2 foot gate! This puppy weighs a whopping 10 lbs and is very short legged, Dogs can fly! I am not sure about pigs but shoot Dogs can LOL

| I have a question Since jack Jack looks like a yorkie with the exception of his ears and a little longer bone structure, he is not called a doxie but a dorkie correct? Was wonding how big they can get, now I read the growth chart here for the yorkie which is at most 6 lbs then I found a website for the dauchsand and they said they could get anywhere bewteen 10-30lbs so how can I tell his max predicted weight? Right now he is 4 months old and weighs in at 11lbs 6 oz( he just ate breakfast) as of today and stands 17' tall and is 17" long, his paws are not big by any means.

Lucy is a standard short haired doxie whom at her highest weighted 21lbs, now she is a gorgeous 16 lbs , then we have ollie the mini doxie who weighs 12 lbs. | Thanks for the weight variations, so I am assuming Jack may get to be about 15 or so pounds.I just have to get him to stop eating LOL I now have to pick up my older dogs bowl since its an auto feeder or he wwould eat all of it. I am stil lgreen here as well so I wantedto see if my profile pic changed as well.

| Fiona is 11 months old and she weighs about 11 lbs....so she is a bigger yorkie....but just know with the doxie in him, you want to keep their weight maintained. With Lucy I had to get her to loose weight since its not good for their backs.

| ok so I need to really watch JackJacks weight as he was 10lbs yesterday! Today is almost 12lbs...he gets plenty of exercise thats for sure, should I be worried that he is only 4 months old and weighs this much? I spoke with the breeder after I adopted Jack from someone else that got him from them( tonuge twister LOL) She breeds Yorkies and Schnazers but she states that a friend brough their doxie over and one of her yorkies got out and surprise! But she is definate on that, how do we know one of her schnauzers did not get to her yk? Jack ahs a red tint to his coat as well as the groomer and vet labeld him color : red

they typically say to feed puppies 3 times a day, however, i usually only feed twice a day. I think he is a lovely mixture of the three! he is very stunning! i wouldnt mind stealing him from you! ha ha! I think he looks fine to me! You want to be able to feel their ribs and see a waistline, you'll know if he is gaining weight. Fiona gets people food when my boyfriend is around, i hate that she gets any for that matter.....what kind of food are you feeding him?
