| my hair is FULL of static! I have a lot of hair- and with it being winter- it is FULL of static which leads me to ALWAYS having to putting up in a pony tail. I use a leave in conditioner but it doesn't seem to be doing much- any other suggestions? |

| You have beautiful hair Marci! I hate fly-aways. I'm not a leave in-conditioner girl. I do like a couple wash out conditioners though - I like a couple of Samy's products - even though my hair is pretty thick my favorite is his Fat Hair line FAT Hair “0” Calories THICKENING products are revolutionary! -- if you have Walgreens up there, you should be able to buy his product. He is often on HSN. So I know you can find his products at HSN.com Official Site I also like Biolage products & Infusium 23 if all else fails - a bit of Static Guard sprayed on your hair brush helps - smells strange - but it does work

| We got a humidifier a little while ago for Mazee's cough, the vet suggested it. I can tell a huge difference in my hair when it is on. Mine and Mazee's hair both have less static, LOL

| Rub a dryer sheet through it. Keep one in your pocket for touch-ups. Also spray static guard on your hair brush and brush it through, that works the best. It might be your leave-in conditioner contributing to the problem. You might want to stop using that and just use a rinse out conditioner instead.

| Yes.. the dryer sheet helps. Keep in your pocket and rub it with your hands now & then as you remember. I'm so full of static, it's not funny. I turn off a lightswitch and I can SEE the lightening bolts shoot out to my fingertips. I've gotten where I go up & turn off the lights with my elbow. I kiss my husband, and a jolt shoots thru our lips... so I turn a cheek to him now.. I switched shoes to more rubbery soles (those suede boots with fleece lining) and that seems to help. Otherwise, I feel for ya girl. But don't touch me ok? |
