| This crazy person takes the cake.... A man hit a 9 year old girl in a crosswalk in Everett, Washington this morning and instead of calling 911 put the child in his car saying he was transporting her to the hospital. Forty minutes later she was dropped off at a mini mart in Shoreline, Washington which is over 12 miles away. She is now in Harborview Hospital with a broken jaw but no life threatening injuries. The driver turned himself in but will not tell the authorities what happened between the time he put her in his vehicle and left her at the mini mart. Oh, and the vehicle was stolen. What a stupid thing to do. I hope he get the dumb criminal of the year award and they throw the book at him. Sorry, I find this so unbelievable I just had to vent.

| That is sick. Accidents happen and the least you can do is man up to them.

| No kidding... the last update was that he has a long list of charges not only here but in other states as well. At this point they are charging him with kidnapping and hit and run. I'm still waiting to hear what happened between the accident scene and where he dropped her off at.

| The little girl should be tested for sexual assault, if he's not willing to give up information on the time he had the girl, he did something to her. I wonder where her parents were during all of this?? You cant even let your kids play in their own back yard anymore by themselves. Keep us updated on this story please |

| How sad that something like that happened. A similar situation happened around here about a year ago. Two girls were walking home from school and a guy hit both of the girls (they think it was intentional). Took one of the girls he hit in his car ( she was unconcious) and drove about 8 miles away and she woke up to him taking her clothes off and then managed to escape from the car. She was left at a park and had to find help by knocking on doors (some people wouldn't help her! ) The guy said he was taking her to the hospital... well he went the opposite way. He was convicted recently and sentenced to 8 years in jail. If the judge charged him for other things it would have been 35 years. The victims and family moved away to another state. I hope this guy get's charged, it's disgusting. I don't know how people can do this!

Are people really that afraid to help children??? I could understand if it was a man, or even a woman, but a child!!! I'm sorry , but if a child showed up at my door, naked, you better believe i would be opening the door. I know if my child was in danger and she was running to save her life, i would pray someone would be willing to risk their a$$, to save her life. | |

| Dear God! Some people are a complete waste of oxygen! That poor little girl! If I were her parents, I think I'd have to bail him out so I could solve his problem!

| How sick is that! Was there no one else around that could have insisted on calling 911? I would think witnesses would have had enough sense to tell him no...that he is not transporting her. Everyone knows you should not move an injured person and leave it to the professionals. I am thankful that poor girl showed up somewhere...even if it was a convenience store...at least she's alive. I hope and pray she wasn't harmed in any way during that 40 minutes. Bless her heart.
