need help with avatar pic please

I want to change my avatar pic....(giving girls a bath this today and want to have a new pic up there) Where I am a donating member now I believe I get a bigger pic...I know how to do it but, how big a pic can I put up there? can somebody give the the dimensions? would be greatly appreciated!
