Everyone including family and friends are always mocking my yorkie talk addiction. They are always like....are you on yorkie talk again?.....you love yorkie talk more than us!....Just now my friend called me and he was like..are you on yorkie talk again... lol.

Its just that this website is so much fun! Does this happen to anyone else?

Absolutely!! I Love YT!! My children are always mocking me... But I don't know why when they themselves are always on MySpace!! My Children are 18 & 19!

My friend teases me but then I remind him of how addicted he is to Myspace....he always says he isn't on there that much but I don't believe him. I'm sure he's always posting new pics of himself and checking out people's pages and what they say....after all isn't that what people do on Myspace??? At least I am discussing my dog and learning about how to be a better yorkie mom and chatting with people who are equally entranced by their babies.

So yes, to answer your question, I get made fun of too but I don't care. Ha!

my dd always laughs at me - she just turned 19 and doesn't have "cyber friends"
she thinks I've gone off the deep end

I was talking to my mom about the next YT Meetup next summer - and her comment was, "You don't have to go every year"

Haha yeah I was telling my parents how I am going to the next meet up and they told me that they have officially lost me into the world of yorkies. They think I am crazy, oh well at least I am happy here.

Much better than myspace.

Yea, my bf makes fun of me too. He's just as bad with his Cubs message board though. It usually shuts him up when I bring up his. lol I have to admit, before I found YT, I use to make fun of him a lot. I've never been apart of a message board before, and didn't know what they were like. I completely understand him now, though.

Renata, I can't believe you have a 19 year old daughter, how could it be when you are only 29 yourself!!

My mom said are you sure it won't hurt Brooke to fly to these events with all the stress etc... But I go to 3 different yorkie & chihuahua meetups and organize 2 other meetups so all my friends and family know that I am crazy for my dogs!!

That is cute. Good answer. Yes... I am completely addicted. I love to surf through the different areas to see what is going on. It is soooo interesting and I have learned a lot. There are some things talked about here that I have had to look up... I had no idea what they were.

But I learn more every day... and that's a good thing.

My husband did....until he joined a forum of his own.

He was bragging the other day about having reached 500 posts and I just casually said, "yeah, I think I have close to 6500 on YT..." Now he's just impressed.
