YT 2000 Club Member | Update On Curtis Curtis had his surgery yesterday for the skin graph, his Dad just called and gave us the update. He came through the surgery well but there's so much damage that they had to actually take skin from both legs. He said one leg they had to take it from the front and the sides, and then the other leg they just had to take skin from the front. He said Curtis is in a lot of pain and he's pretty swollen and black and blue and now has the pain from where they took the skin from to do the skin graphs. His neck is pretty sore from the injuries to the back of it, he said they spent an hour and a half just pulling glass out of it and then had so pull everything back together to sew it shut. I asked Curtis's Dad how long the whole healing process for the skin graph takes and he said the surgeon told them that it actually takes a year and a half for the skin graph to get to where it's gonna be and how it'll stay, that's if there's no complications. If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to ask that you'd continue to pray for Curtis, he's in a lot of pain and has so far to go to recover. I'd like to ask that you'd also keep his parents in your prayers as well, I know they are so worn out and beat and so worried about Curtis. His Dad finally drove by the place where the accident happened and couldn't believe Curtis walked away from the accident with just the injuries he has. I can't remember if I told you before but when the truck flipped and landed in the trees, one of the tree limbs actually went through the top of the truck, Curtis is so lucky to even be alive. I'll update more as we hear anything. Thank you so much for the prayers for Curtis and his family, I know it means so much to all of them.
