Fried Pickles!!!
 
OKAY...I know Gross right?:confused:

Well this weekend I went out to dinner and a girlfriend of mine MADE me try one. I could not understand how it even sounded right but I figured you know...I may as well try one :rolleyes: , I like Pickles and lets see I am a southern girl so anything fried has got to be good right. :p

Well...LOW AND BEHOLD .... I loved them - ha, ha....:p :p

I feel like a desperate drug addict now...asking every restaurant I go to if they serve fried pickles ~ LOL!!! :p :p

Any one else try these?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE fried pickles :) Hooters has some REALLY good ones :D

I love Fried Artichoke Hearts. Being from Salinas (produce capital of the world) we lived next to the Artichoke capital of th World - Castroville, Ca. Well they have them their and they are oh so dang delicious.. I could eat a 1lb bag if you let me..... Oh don't forget the mayo dip or ranch but I like the mayo this time around....

Fried pickles are one of my fav bad girl foods! Dont forget the ranch to dip them in! mmmmmm naughty.

They are AWESOME!!!!

Applebees used to carry them but they don't anymore. Now I have no place to get my fix!!

How is it that I have never heard of them till now? :confused:

Oh and those fried artichokes sound awesome too....I love Artichokes. YUM!! :D

They are super YUMO... funny i've never heard of fried pickles.. Is it cause I live in AZ and we are deprived?? LOL hey we got some of the best mexican food so I guess that may make up for it...

Oh, I know..they are SO GOOD! I love them with ranch! I didn't know Hooters had them! I have been looking for a new place to get them since Applebees stopped selling them!

There is a restaurant in Stone Mountain Park that sells them. I think out of everywhere I have had them, they cook them the best.(I'm in Georgia also!!!!)

I do love Pickle chips (potato chips ) are they similar to that?

They are pickles slices that are battered and deep fried. AKA...heaven :)

I had them at Charlie and Jakes a BBQ place on the beach. I went over there with a girlfriend this weekend since I was house sitting my mom and dads this weekend. It is right off of Eau Gallie just past the Causeway and Riverside right before you get to A1A.


Seriously Nikki they are SOOOOO good :D , we may need to go together soon. :p :p

O.k...I have to ask...are these sweet pickles like bread and butter pickles or are they dill pickles and is the batter crunchy like fried chicken or is it breaded like on a corndog? I tried a lot of food while in Florida but I never came across fried pickles.

love love these!! If anyone is near denver there is a place right off 16th street mall called Bayou Bobs that has these!

I also love fried green beans!!
