| What's the most unique pet you've ever owned? This morning on the radio they were talking about strange pets, and one guy called in and said he had a pet rooster that lived in his house. He had litterbox trained it and all! He said it woke him up every morning at the crack of dawn. So what's the most interesting or strangest pet that you've ever owned? I guess mine would be Red Eyed Tree Frogs. I had two when I was in highschool. They are really pretty, but it got tiring cleaning out their aquarium constantly. And I had to feed them live crickets...it was actually kindof neat watching them eat. They were cool little frogs but I wouldn't own one again.

| I had a Boa - Yes a snake... but not the kind that gets to be huge. I didn't like feeding it so I gave it away - I liked the mice more than the snake. I also had 2 ferrets. Lots of fun but once was enough for me.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | My sister and I had a marmoset monkey and it smelled so bad and was mean! We donated him to the zoo after about a year as they said he needed to be with other monkeys. We also had horn toads and chameleons.

| are those the ones that stay really tiny? Was it like having a baby? Where do you put a monkey if you have to leave it at home alone?

| Oh lets see they were not pets but I rescued a couple Wild animals. I bottle fed a Racoon and raised him till he could be on his own .. Had A Squirrel that found me. He was just a baby so I kept him till he could be on his own. That was fun Because I had a Squrril Rabbit and a Tiny baby Kitten all at the same time and tey acted like litter mates. I also had a iguana for a bit. He was a friends and I kept him till we could find a new home. |

I've had a lot of pets but nothing that unusual. I used to have a ferret. I also used to raise and show sheep. We used to also have a goose that my brother "rescued" from a truck of geese that crashed on the slaughter house. She was very lucky and lived for 10 years or so until she came up missing. So I guess maybe one of those three..

| When the kids were little we had 2 Chinese hooded rats, 2 mice, and a 3 ft. Iguana named Iggy. There were lots of other pets but those were our strangest.

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | When I was a teen, we lived in West Texas. My mother made a comment to one of my cousins once that she'd "sure love to have some rabbit". A couple of weeks later, a box arrived and when we opened it.....there was a live jack rabbit! Noooooooo, we didn't eat it!

I couldn't eat an animal I saw alive...I mean I know when I eat meat, it was alive at some point. But I couldn't know an animal personally and then eat it
