looking for a Wii. I have searched up and down for one. I have spent all day trying to catch one online and when they become available, they are always the bundles and they want $700 for it. I am trying to surprise my fiance for christmas but I don't think it is going to happen. I was going to stand in line at best buy yesterday morning because I heard they were getting some put it was just too darn cold to stand out there to possibly get one. Sorry I just had to tell someone before I exploded!!! Now I have no idea what to do.

Good luck, it's going to be tough. Do a search here for wii. There's been a few threads about not being able to find one, etc. I think someone said just keep checking Target because they get like so many in every week. I think you are just going to have to be lucky. Sorry hun.

I heard target was getting 54 in yesterday morning, so we showed up before they opened & got one. I'd just go into a target & ask when their next shipment is if they're getting one & then show up before they open & hope for the best.

Thanks! I tried calling all the Targets and Best Buys around my house and they all said that they were probably getting some more in but they had no idea when.

I think i have something that might help you out! I heard on the news that GameStop will be giving rainchecks for the Wii. so i called mine and they said they give out the wii you prepay for it and when they come in you are guaranteed you have to get it before jan 29th. their giving the rain checks on friday or saturday the 21st or 22nd.

So i hope you have a gamestop in your area and this info helps you out!

i got my wii on ebay for a really good price.... i was on every hour checking the prices and at like midnight one night there was one that the bidding stayed really low for and i ended up winning it.

I saw this on TV a couple days ago.....try wiialert.com supposedly they will text you when someone has some in; I think online. Hope this helps, and good luck!

Just keep checking with stores, the best is t go in person and ask someone in the electronics area when they get there shipments in, most times theywil tell you. My sister found one for me at Target.

I went into Target last night....no luck. I have three different wii trackers open all day. I thought I had gotten one through amazon but when I went to pay it said "out of stock". I was soooo mad. You guys are just too nice. Thanks for all the info!

Up here the walmarts tend to have one or two most of the time. Check your local walmart! they seem to get the most in more often than other stores.

I can't believe they're still so saught after I remember the Wii craze last year, but didn't think it would still be this crazy this year too. I was able to get a couple of them last year when I worked at Toys R Us. Unfortunately, it's really hit or miss with the Wiis. We would get a new shipment in, and they would be gone within 10 minutes! We were able to tell customers when we were expecting a new shipment, but they would have to be in the store the exact moment they get put on the floor otherwise they would miss them. I can't tell you how many times I was asked "do you have any Wiis?"...I've never had to say "no" so many times in my life Like I said, it's pretty much hit or miss. Good luck on your search though
