Website help needed. How to use FLASH???

This is for all of you that maintain your own Yorkshire Terrier Website. I am interested in using Flash.. I use Yahoo Sitebuilder. But I am wanting to add flash to my site.... All the help needed PLEASE...

Very Cute website you have! What exactly are you wanting to do with flash? did you want a flash design/logo upon entering or did you wan tthe whole site redone in flash?

I am wanting to add a few areas of flash on my site. Like maybe a area at the top of my page with yorkie pictures flashing when you open my site.

thats do able are you wanting to do this yourself or did you want someone to do it for you?

i would be willing to help, but my computer is not coopering with me (hence the thread for the need of a new laptop lol) but i'd help in anyway i can!

I can try to do it all in imageready if you'd like.. just to offer

Though Flash is 'flashy' and impressive, you can get pretty much the same effect with javascript. And, some pc's don't handle flash very well. If this is going to be a business site, you'll want as many preople to have access as possible.

I hard code my sites, so I don't know what Yahoo supports.

I don't know much about flash or javascript.. I would like to have a few blinking banners on my pages.. I would like to use what ever program is the easiest.

just like abbiesmom posted a lot of people don't have the ability to see the flash pages sometimes on a website.. but you can also do javascript too, i know imageready you can do just about the same "flashy" things too
