| Heartburn/Acid Reflux Soooo the dr diagnosed me with Hplori & Heartburn (which I knew already) Ive taken to the meds for the hpylori (And crossing my fingers) hope that it worked. She precribed my Nexium for the heartburn - but Ive read soo many negative things about it and it really doesnt seem to be working. Does anyone know of any hollistic or home remedies for it? Ive targeted some foods that really bring it on - but it does sneak up still and it can be BAD. Any help would be great! Thanks! |

| I get really bad heartburn sometimes, and one day it was sooo bad that I was throwing up. So I went on line and did a search for instant heart burn remedies, and believe me, there are a ton!! What I did that day, was 1 tbsp of Vinegar. It was the worst tasting and burning as it went down, but like 5 minutes later, it was soooo much better. Here is the site that I went to: http://www.otan.dni.us/webfarm/email.../heartburn.htm I've heard A LOT of good things about Apple Cider Vinegar! Good luck! | I've been on Nexium for about 4 years and it really helps me. I can really tell a difference when I go off it.

| oh welcome to my world. After much testing and one gallbladder surgery later my doctor did a scope and i now know that the valve between my small intestine and stomach does not close and i get bile coming back up.. ya.. it's painful. But when we thought i just had heartburn i was also on Nexium and i did not work for me at all. However i have read good things about apple cider vinegar as well as pure honey... however if you find it isnt working for you.. don't settle.. ask for a scope... it is quick, painless (they knock you out for it) and is THE easiest way to get an answer.. good luck with the H Pylori.. i thought i had that too but the biposy the did during the scope came back negative.. i almost wish that was the problem because antiobioticts will get rid of it. Good luck! pm me if you have any questions you think i can help with been there.. hang in there.. i know the pain |

| I am on Prilosec right now (have been for about 8 years). It works great for me. Before I was on prilosec, I took ginger capsules (with a little milk) or drank ginger tea. This helped a lot.
