I ADORE, in this order: Nigella Lawson Giada Di Laurentiis Ina Garten Paula Deen I really can't stand: Sandra Lee (omg, she drives me batty - SO corny/cheesy!) Emeril Rachel Ray (grating voice, and the way she initials everything - ie "toss the E.V.O.O. in the g.c.!" ....just SAY garbage can already!) The rest I can take or leave....

Rachael Ray is annoying for many reasons but here are a few: she is repetitive, she talks with her hands way too much, she giggles incessantly, she puts olive oil and chicken stock in everything, she wears really ugly clothing, she talks out of one side of her mouth like she's had a stroke, and she looks like "The Joker" when she smiles...I really should not be so mean but I would probably not even notice these things if there was not so much EVOO, etc

| I am afraid to say this, just kidding but my 2 favorites are Rachael ray (just bought her new book yesterday 40%off)@Paula!Sandra dee is like chalk on the board,I also like Nigella@Emeril! I enjoy getting recipes off the food network site. |

| My friend is totally in love with Giada and some of her stuff looks good but realistically it's not something I would make on a daily baiss. We've tried and few things and it's good. I like Rachel Ray's ideas but I don't normally watch, i get confused by the abbreviations and spend more time trying to figure out what she's talking about and miss the show. I've made some of her things and for me they are easy and not too bad. I love Paula but I'm afraid of how much weight I'd put on if I made her food, but oh my goodness it looks so good. Comfort food. I'm waiting for my kids to bail on me so I can make more of a variety of things. Yummy.

| Oh I am addicted to Food Network too! I LOVE Paula! I want her to adopt me so bad I can't stand it! Giada is another one I love. Alton Brown just fascinates me with all his scientific stuff. I am on the line with Rachel Ray. For some reason I feel like I HAVE to watch her show (the 30 minute meals one - I can't stand the other ones). However I agree about the giggling and the abbreviations. When I cook I use a garbage bowl now (it IS a good idea), but I do call it a garbage bowl and not a G.B. I cook with Olive Oil and Not E.V.O.O. I used to love Emeril but he has been grating on my nerves for some reason lately. I think its funny how Sandra Dee makes a "cocktail" with EVERYTHING. I think that accounts for some of her "tablescapes".
