yup, most all Yorkies do this. Grab the toy and shake the snot out of it. It's a throwback to the beginnings of the breed. They were bred to be ratters and that's how they'd kill the rodents when they caught them, grab them and shake to break the neck. Of course Yorkies were significantly larger then. They may be smaller in size today, but they still have that "killer" instinct that their ancestors had LOL.

Yes! ZoE has a squirrel skinneez and she kills it on a daily basis...shaking it & tossing it around. Gizmo's skunk looks a bit bigger than her squirrel.

Yes, they kill their toys. My 2 girls will get into bloodletting fights over BoBo's...so no more bobo's allowed in the house. They will also kill rabbits, chipmunks and any birds they can get in our yard. Of course, in the house, a mouse could walk right by them and they would just yawn and ignore it.
