| Possible New........uh Yorkie! As you all know, my Son Bruiser was taken from me just over three weeks ago, his litter mates are still for sale, my question is; Is it too late to get one of them? They are about six months old, and I'm afraid if I get one, he will have seperation anxiety leaving his Mom & Dad, he knows me since I took Bruiser to visit them almost every day. I just don't want to buy another Yorkie and find out it's too late. I'm REALLY new to owning Yorkies, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, George, Father of Bruiser Carteeti, R.I.P |

| I got Samson at 5 months old. My sister-in-law was pad training him so it worked out well for me. He did cry in his crate (missing mom and dad) for the first week but after that he got used to it. He would go to bed in the crate at 10:00 and wake up to potty at 3:00. Then he would come to bed with me til I woke up for work at 7:00. You can get one of those heated plush dog toys that your new Yorkie can snuggle with to help with the separation. I found one on Targets website for $17.99. Good luck! |

| A Real I miss You Bruiser day :-( today, like many other days has been hard, losing Bruiser the way I did was hard, but not a day goes by when I just have a moment and cry my eyes out. I talk to him every day, hoping that he understands the reason I cremated him and that one day, when the Good Lord sees fit He and I will be together again in Heaven, right now though, it hurts like hell, I want my Son back Father of Bruiser Carteeti, R.I.P[/QUOTE] |

| I totally understand what you are going thru. We lost our first yorkie last year after only having LoveBug for a month she was only 3 months old that was a year ago today then a month later I lost my very first yorkie Petree after 14 years. Needless to say last year was horrible! They found out she had a heart defect and it was the hardest thing we ever went thru. Bruiser would definately want you to get the brother and be happy again. He definately would not want to see you sad! I will pray for you and I will ask all my little ones: Levi, Rocky, Petee, Bubbles, CoCo, Sprinkles and Snuggles to pray for you too!! |

| I've had three yorkies that I got at 6 months or older. I've never had any trouble with them adjusting to our home. I wish you peace and good luck with your new baby

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I know how you must miss Bruiser and having a sibling of his would be so nice. I got Pixie at 13 months and she was ok. I hope you can get one to share your love.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your Bruiser. It must be horrible for you. I think that getting one of his litter mates is a great idea, even if they are 6 months old.It would be like having a part of Bruiser again. We got our Beatrice when she was almost 9 months old ,I would do it again in a heart beat....I mean get an older pup.She learned everything so quickly. It's sounds like you have a space in your life that needs to be refilled |

| Hi, I got my now 14 month old Yorkie when he was 6 months old. My 78 y.o. Papillion took about 2 weeks to stop trying to eat him!! I think that Bruiser would be very happy for one of his siblings to help heal his Daddy's heart!!! He knows how much you miss him. i think this would make him smile...

| Hi, I am sorry for your loss. I got Lulu when she was 5 months old and my sister got Gracie from Cindy (chattiesmom) when she was almost 8 months old. I think one of Bruiser's litter mates would adjust just fine, as Lulu and Gracie did. Best of luck with your decision.
