| That's great! Have you been taking her to puppy class or are you training her on your own? |

| Thanks everyone! Ginger is only 1/2 Yorkie (1/2 Bichon), but I found this forum and love how everyone is so friendly here. Thanks for letting me share. Learning how to sit, spin, etc, was fairly easy compared to learning her biggest "trick" of all, and that is learning how to pee and poo on a pad in my apartment, lol, but we are getting there, finally! I came across some training videos by expert village, and there's one series in particular that features a little yorkie named Tuffy. After watching this, i found out that my dog is also nuts for cheese. So I try to use Melanie's method, and for us it works pretty good. http://www.expertvillage.com/video/9...yorkie-sit.htm In the spring time when we can get outside some more, I'd like to try some agility training with Ginger, In the meantime, we are focusing on the potty trick, and I'm trying to keep her from jumping on strangers. I wish i knew how to add music and text to videos. I've seen quite a few videos on this forum, and they are all so good!!! I love all these cute Yorkies, and could stare at the vids and avatars for ages. |
