| Ollie growing up- and some sad news~ Oliver will be 19 weeks tomorrow! I can't believe how fast they grow up- I noticed his little head is white as snow- I wonder what color he will be as he gets older. He's probably around 5 LBs right now, but he's still such a little boy! Sad news: my apartment complex was sold to someone and this new landlord doesn't allow pets (not even FISH) so I dunno what we are going to do! I'm hoping we can talk he into it since we got him when the old landlord allowed pets... I don't know. Just thought I'd share some "growing up pictures" first pic from breeder- all others in age order. (the one at the bottom is the first pic i took of him when i got him)

| OMG .. that sucks that the new landlord would change a rule like that. But on a happier note, he's super cute! Lis

| Love that last picture!! Tooo cute!! Best of luck with your living situation. Maybe they can "grandfather" you because you already live there? Can you maybe offer the dude a deposit (OK, BRIBE) to let you keep your pup and stay?

| I'm not sure about the laws in your state, but as a rule they have to honor the terms of your lease for the duration of it. When your lease is up they can request that you sign one of their leases, and that is when the clause would affect you. If they don't request that you sign a new lease, your current lease will automatically roll over. Sometimes as a month-to-month and sometimes for the length of time in the original lease. Do you have any realtor friends that you could show your lease? They would know all of your state laws. Good luck!

| Thanks everyone for your replies!! They ARE having us sign a new lease stating no pets... (Unless landlord accepts excuse I guess, or if he is a service dog for blind, etc.) My mom was a realtor so I need to get her opinion- Hopefully it all works out, We are going to call the landlady today so I'll keep everyone posted!!!

| I ran in to this same problem several years ago. We did not have the problem with pets, ours was they wanted to raise our rent like $300 more than what we were currently paying at the time. Of course, I was like "Heck No" I am not paying more money just because the management/landlord changed. So I started making phone calls to the TX apartment association and other mangement companies, and found out here in TX, by law they have to honor the current lease until it is expired, then they can have you sign a new lease but not before. BTW you baby is too cute for words. |

| Great pictures!!!!! When is your lease up? They have to let you keep him, until you sign a new one. So if it's soon, you might want to start looking, if not, try a talk them into letting him stay. Who could say no to that cute little face. If your Landlord has a wife, talk to her, they almost always say OK.
