| Mandie*Shelby*Daddy*IronBowl 2013 So, we are a true house divided when it comes to college football. The hubby and Mandie (since she's a daddy's girl) are Alabama fans; I and Shelby-Dale (Mama's boy) are Auburn Fans. THE game..the one we all live for in the state of Alabama..was yesterday. It is called the Iron Bowl. This is my family (no, I don't do pics unless forced lol) before the kickoff. *Note* Everyone is all happy...the night didn't end that way. teehee 1) Mandie resting up after putting the Christmas tree up and before the game festivities: 2) Mandie and her Daddy - Alabama fans forever (bleh lol): 3) Shelby-Dale in his Auburn tshirt in front of the newly put up Christmas tree: 4) A bonus mix of my babies. Love them soooo much!!:

| I bet the doggies are tired out from that game, I know I was. Being from Illinois......we are not Alabama or Auburn fans but what a game last night!!!! I felt sorry for the Alabama kicker. All I could think about was his poor parents and how they felt.

| I love your pics. I can't believe your dogs brave out football. There was so much yelling at my house during that game that poor little Barney ran and hid under the bed. I agree with Karen that I felt bad for the kicker and his folks; although, did anybody think he would actually make it from that far?

| This is a close call, who to side with. Mandie is absolutely adorable snuggling on the couch, and sitting on daddy's lap. However, Shelby-Dale's smile is awesome! I'm going to have to remain neutral.

| Hehe...They actually did run around and act silly when Daddy would yell like a maniac. *Mom doesn't yell..well, except when her team runs a 109 yard missed field goal back for the winning score* It's almost impossible to get a pic of Shelby-Dale without him "smiling". He hassels/pants constantly so it looks like that lol Love my family - divided as we may be.

| I have just got to go to Tiger Rags and get Huey an Auburn shirt! What a game! I was at work and was going from tv to tv in the patient rooms as I checked on them to watch the game, but I missed the end. A patient's husband described the end to me as I was triaging his wife, (he was exalting over how great it was and described it so well he could have been an announcer for the blind...it was perfect!) so 1st chance I got, I ran back to the break room to see the replay of the ending. Of course, people had it posted on facebook by then, but it is not the same on a 4 inch phone screen...Love Shelby-Dale's shirt, and of course, it is mandatory for Mandie to follow her Daddy's team, so I can't blame her for wearing Alabama duds. (As long as no one has on Tennessee orange, I am happy!)

| great photos, your babies are darling, how fun to live in a house divided, and especially nice when you are on the winning side I agree with Becky that kick was a little unrealistic to expect the kid to make but it is still hard on them when they fail. I always think about how the kicker feels in situations like that because my good friend in High School's brother was a star kicker back in the day at Penn state, she said the first few years were very emotionally hard on him, he went from being a kicker on a HS team where he was hardly known, to a huge school with televised games and an iconic coach. One day he would be big man on campus (if he made the field goals) the next week people would be booing him and making nasty comments on campus if he had a bad game, plus he would see his reviews over and over on TV and in newsprint, there were times he wanted to quit school. Sometimes we forgot how young these college players are, some not even 20.

| Love this! A divided house must be difficult at times. LOL, I was watching that game. Wow what an ending! And I love seeing all the videos being posted with everyone's excitement/disappointment. That's what it's all about.
