I just had to share this:

There is a sweet lady that lives in Puerto Rico who orders bows from me often, for her Yorkie Reinita. (She will be the first picture in the post), she was at her Pet Blessing in this photo.

Evelyn and I have become very good friends thru our correspondence, like I have with many of you. She knew about my second biopsy this month, and she sent so much prayer and encouragement my way, like many of you too. My biopsy was benign

But Breast Cancer Awareness & Stressing the importance of mammograms remains an important issue to me, as I lost my mother at the age of 42.

She said she wanted to send something special to Darcy, and asked for her measurements. I sent them to her, and in less than a week, this beautiful "pink ribbon" dress was delivered in the mail. It was so sweet and special, I had to share it

Thank you! She said she had one made for Reinita too, so I am sure I will get a picture. The next best thing would be to have a picture of them togeher.....ahhhh well, maybe some day!

Both babies are just precious! What a sweet person to send Darcy a dress with pink ribbons on it. I'm glad your test results were benign.

I am so glad to hear your biopsy was benign. This is a scarey experience for anyone at any age. My own daughter when she was only 15 years old had a very large breast tumor that had to be removed and biopsied. I am so thankful it was caught early and turned out to be benign.

I think it is so thoughtful of your customer/friend to make a breast cancer awareness dress for Darcy. She looks so cute in her new dress.

OMG

Only 15? How horrible for her and you to have to go thru! That is why early detection is key. I could not feel this mass, although it was large, my breasts are too

. The dr. says many things cannot be detected from a self-exam, but a mammogram and/or ultrasound can find them. This is why it is so important to have your mammogram yearly (as recommended for me), or follow whatever plan the Dr. puts in place for you!

She is the bestest friend I never had LOL. I have tried to get her to join YT, and she hasn't yet, to my knowledge. I am going to try again, she is a real Yorkie lover, and would fit right in.

Her and her husband distribute "Yummy Chummys" in PR as well as work FT jobs during the week.

What a very thoughtful person your friend is! It's amazing the type of people and friends we make through the internet. I'm glad your biopsy came out benign ~ I can only imagine how grueling it was anticipating your test results.
