Hi everyone, I'm Angel and I'm getting my first yorkie (and first puppy) tomorrow from Melissa (WV/Kissa Yorkies)

I have a few names in mind but I think I'm going to wait until after I get him to decide on one

Here's the most recent pic of him that I got from Melissa and some of the things that I've gotten for him already. I'm so excited!!!! =)

How exciting! Get lots of rest today because you're going to need it! I brought Tallulah home a week ago, and even though she goes to bed when I do and doesn't make a peep unless I get up, I'm so tired I can hardly keep my eyes open.

I hope you have as much fun with your new baby as I'm having. And definitely post pictures or videos.

Get a tube of Pedisure. It's for low blood sugar. Puppies blood sugar levels can go down and up in just a few moments. Watch his gums, they should always be nice and pink. If they are white and he is acting like he has no energy his blood sugar level might be low. Just rub a little pedicare on his gums and watch him close. If he doesn't come around in a few minutes you'll need to take him to a vet.

Hypoglycemia: Can occur is small breeds. Symptoms are white
gums, Lethargic & cant balance, Seizures and Rolled up eyes.
They can get this very quickly, be fine one minute and cant stand
the next. These T-Cup and tiny breeds are very fragile and must be
treated as such. They must eat 3-5 times a day everyday. They
stop eating mainly due to stress.

The first thing you should do after getting him is to take him to a vet and have him checked over really good to make sure he's in good health and start his shots.

Thanks everyone. I think I'm gonna name him Brady =)

And yes, I got a tube of nutrical just in case, but he hasn't needed it so far. He was sleeping and cuddling with my bf the whole car ride back and now he's passed out in his crate hehe. It took no time to get him used to the crate. In fact, when I open the door, he doesn't even want to come out

Just read this. Congrats....Brady is just precious! Love his sweet face.

I learned here on YT when Zhoie was a baby, to use a harness and not a collar because of their delicate neck. A collar can damage their trache.

Perhaps you already know, but I just happened to notice the collar on him.

Oh yeah, he is one love, lucky little fella! Good luck.
