| Meet Lacie :) Lacie is 14wks old right now and weighs 2.8lbs. She is actually my parents' puppy, but I'm over at their house frequently to make sure mom doesn't get overwhelmed with the puppy energy (we all forgot how much time puppies consume, of course). Her back is black, and her face still has the puppy look of course. Her legs are mostly tan, and her paws are starting to turn silver. She loves doing everything puppies love- including running, chewing, climbing, digging, exploring, etc- especially if she is outside in her fenced in backyard. She can sometimes be convinced to take a nap in her crate when she gets too cranky to be around anyone (like a typical toddler). Her favorite toys are garden stakes, milk caps, leaves, flowers (only the safe ones), her squeaky bear, balls... the list goes on and on of course. For every one toy we buy her, she finds two other things to play with that we didn't buy her. She has also discovered that shrews are little critters that sometimes pop out of the ground, and she can follow their scent while they're running under ground. She also loves to watch the chipmunks run along the fence. I wouldn't say that she particularly loves learning new tricks, but she catches on pretty quickly to things like sit, down, and come. We've also worked on having her give us her toys, but that only works once or twice before she starts demanding treats. I'm sure there is so much more that I could say about her, but it'll just have to wait for future posts. |
