It's Officially June 23rd! Bijou's 1st Birthday

I'm head over heels for you little girl and thought a year of reflection was due to our YT family for them to help us celebrate your day!!!

I thought a picture of the first day you came into my life was in order. It was hard to pick one, so I'll share a few. My favorite is this first one of you standing on my leg as we were getting to know each other once we got home. Then there the car ride on sissy's lap. Third is when you met Garrett for the first time, boy did you move quickly when he turned to look at you

Lastly, there's your big brother Barley watching over you while you took a nap.

You were blessed with two big brothers to look out for you. You soon learned that you could steal Garrett's ice and he would just look the other way. But you haven't learned not to steal ice with a wet mouth

But you know you can take Barley's favorite spot on the couch and he'd just scoot over some. And they will always be in front to protect you if needed.

You learned the proper way to ride in a stroller is not hanging out over the edge, but with all paws safely inside as the buggy is moving.

You also mastered riding correctly seated in your car seat and not standing up as Mommy is trying to drive. No laps in the car just seat belts

One of Mommy's favorite lessons that you've mastered is how to pose properly for photos.

You've learned to trust us! Whether it be swimming in the pool w/Daddy or trusting Mommy to give you a safe and proper hair cut, you trust us and that's want matters most.

You've also learned to have fun with things you're scared of. Like water...you hate bath time, but you love playing with the water in the hose as we water the flowers

We've been through a lot together in this last year and it's created an unbreakable bond between us. First, there was the fear after you broke your tiny leg and then there was your second surgery for your spaying. If I could have take the pain for you I'd have done it in a heartbeat.

Came all our wonderful friends on YT who have lived through this with us, and helped us become bffs with a few very special ladies!!! Two of with have sent you birthday gifts to help celebrate your special day of turning 1!

Thank you to Ashlee for the beautiful one of a kind birthday dress and to Laurie for the 2 fabulous Barbie outfits!!! One day we'll go these girls together for a play date and really celebrate them! (((((((Hugs)))))))) to you both for sharing the joy of Bijou's special day!!!!

Thank you to our YT Family for being there for us through this year and for those to come!!!! I hope everyone's enjoyed our little walk down memory lane.
