We had to put down our 10 yo Bichon this morning. It took three injections before he passed on--not the "it'll be over before the girl is done injecting him". First vein collapsed; second vein--it wasn't over; the vet's girls left us with the dying dog for 15 minutes, then came back in the room to do a third injection in the other leg. At least by the third injection, Ranger was unaware of his surroundings. Husband & I were just totally upset.

Good bye, Ranger. You'll always have a place in our hearts. I hope you find Muffers and Panda who left us when you first were our "new puppy".

Oh, Dee I am so, so sorry...

What a sad situation for all of you. I know this post had to be hard for you. Know that Ranger is now riding on the wings of a Angel. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers in your time of need.

We are so very sorry for your loss, we recently lost our precious one, having been Blessed with her for almost eleven years and oh how we know the heart ache you are both going through. God lift your sorrow and comfort you and give you peace in knowing your precious one is in a very special place with all our other loved pets.

Oh ,that had to be horrible time,must have felt like forever,We lost our little one just over a year ago,what upset us was that she was at the vets and died alone.....still not over that, At least you were there holding your baby.
So very sorry for your loss,Know its never easy.

God bless your little heart Ranger. I'm so very sorry for your loss. The only comfort is in knowing that little Ranger is happy and PAIN FREE at the Rainbow Bridge right now.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I know how hard it is. But I'm always thankful I got to be there with them till the end. Ranger is my prayers, and watching over his momma.

Like it isn't awful enough to have to go through this, then to have to take 3 shots! I'm so sorry it went so badly. I'm sure Roger knew he was loved. Putting a dog down is the hardest decision I've ever had to make and I know that it takes a truly loving mommy and daddy to do it. Roger was lucky to have you in his life for so many years. God bless you, I hope you will soon be able to laugh and smile at your memories of him.
