| She had a long, long life and that is a tribute to the care and love she received all these years! And, as you said, having to make that "last loving honorable tribute to Twisty, is the most heartbreaking one you have to make for your precious baby. She passed safely cradled in your arms, in the place she always felt safest, where she always knew she was adored....your scent was the last scent she smelled, your warmth and protective arms were holding her closely, and your heartbeat was the last thing she heard....she always knew you would be there for her, and she always knew you would be sure she was kept safe. I am so sorry for your loss, but try to find comfort knowing you were always there for herm until the very end, and she went from your loving arms, to run and play, healthy and whole, at glorious Rainbow Bridge, where she will wait for the day you come to get her and yow two will continue your eternal journey. God bless you..... |

| What a lovely tribute video to your dear Twisty. She looked adorable in her tutu, cowboy boots and purse. She had a wonderful full life with you and it now waiting for you to join her. My deepest sympathies on your great loss.

YorkieTalk Newbie! | So sorry for your loss!i lost my Macy in May, my heart is still broken. They are the sweetest babies. I love your video of her. I will pray for you during your loss. I know it's very hard, They are a part of the family and it's so hard when you don't have them to make you smile. Just sit and remember all the good times. May God give you peace & comfort during your healing. Can I ask where you got that song? Or who sings it & the name. |

| So sorry for your loss, I had to put down my 17 y/o girl. In a couple of days it will be 1 year she left me, but it seems like just yesterday. I have a memoriam of her favorite toys and her pic. in my home office. Not a day goes by that she does not flash through my mind. That is a beautiful tribute to lil Twisty. She will be with you, in your heart forever, no matter how many babies you may have. This is a hard painful time, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers to help give you strength to be strong. (((hugs)))

| I'm sorry for your loss. Wow, 17yo!!! That is amazing!! I am willing to bet that she got to that age by your loving care and attention. I've heard that they live 15yrs, so having that extra two years must have been a blessing. Again, sorry for your loss. |

| So sorry for your loss. It is hard to see them fading away physically. You can see it in their eyes. Your tribute was very sweet. Hugs to you.

| Thank you all so very much - your kind words mean so much to me! I had started a reply explaining what happened to her (it was long) but I somehow deleted it before I could post. I will re-write it in a few in case anyone wants to know what happened to my sweet Twisty. I am so glad you all enjoyed the video - she was very special and dear to us. I picked up her ashes yesterday so she is back home with me again... @Macy2006 - the song is Torn to Pieces by Pop Evil. I am glad you liked it!! |

YT 2000 Club Member | twisty I sat here and cried watching your video. I know the deep love of a dog and I can see you had that love for sweet Twisty. What a great dog! I know in my heart that the dogs we love are in the presence of their Creator. When I get to heaven I will see my dogs running to greet me. My Lord knows how must I love each one of them and you took such good care of Twisty. It is better that we love than never have that love. A dogs love is so precious and only us that love dogs know that. You were blessed with Twisty and that dog had a wonderful life. I will pray for you to have comfort and peace knowing the short time you had Twisty you gave your dog a great home. |

YT 2000 Club Member | dog I want to share from my heart a truth I know. There is always a blessing that comes after a sorrow. When my Teddy Peanut passed away, my heart was broken. just like yours. Now I have JoJo. This dog is a love and will never be Teddy but I just love him. Twisty's job on earth was done. He was a really great dog but now he is home. You watch for a blessing to come to you. I had cancer and now I have the most awesome hospice ministry. All because of the terrible months I went through with that cancer. You will be blessed! After the rain, the beautiful rainbow! You are beautiful for loving Twisty so much! |

| Thank you Sandy Simpson. At some point I am going to re-write the post about what happened that I deleted by accident. I just can't do it emotionally right now. Also, my 7 year old daughter is really having a hard time with it. She is the one in the pictures holding Twisty - it was the first thing she did every day when she came home from school. Today is going to be the first day coming home with no Twisty to cuddle. I can deal with my pain and grief but watching her not being able to fully understand it all is painful in itself. She is going to the school counselor today to help her understand and deal with some of her feelings. I hope to post the whole situation soon so you guys can help me come to terms with it all and hopefully reassure me that I made the right decision. I am not sure my heart will ever be whole again... |

| Thank you Sandy Simpson. I treasure the 17 years I had with her. What hurts me even more is watching my 7 year old daughter grieve - she just don't understand what has happened or why. I will make a post soon explaining the whole situation. I want feedback from you guys to help put my mind at ease that I did the right thing and I did what was best for Twisty. I am not in an emotional state to make that post right now - but I will soon. As she passed away in my arms I did not tell her goodbye - I told her, "until we meet again my precious baby girl"... |
