|  RIP Sweet Isabella Isabella passed away in her sleep last week. I miss her so much. She was only with us for about 11 months, but she was such a blessing. I don't know much about her life before my husband found her on that rainy day last October, but I do know that she was very much loved since she came to live with us. I imagine her being young again and being able to see and hear and run with all the other cherished animals in heaven. My house is so empty now. My dh is deployed to Afganistan right now and it was so hard to tell him that Isabella had passed. It has been a tough year for me as shortly after adopting Isabella my mom had a stroke and I have been consumed with taking care of her as much as I can. I wanted to post a couple of happy photos of Isabella in remembrance of her kind and loving spirit. |

| Thanks for your kind words everyone. It makes me feel better to post this here for Isabella as a tribute to her life. So often when a pet dies we don't know how to express our grief, at least for me anyway. Tinkerbell hasn't been eating so well. Isabella used to steal Tinks food and I had to put Tinks bowl up on the counter until Isabella was through. Now that Tink can just eat when she wants she doesn't seem to have much interest. I felt bad leaving Tink today when I left for work. This will be her first day alone in the house since Isabella came to live with us. |
