| Senior Yorkie Talker  |  RIP My sweet Jake Today I sent my little friend Jake to Rainbow Ridge. I got Jake 10 years ago very abused, scared and unhappy dog. He was rescued from a shelter by a wonderful person that had to sneak him out in a garbage can not to be euthanized. She thought he was too beautiful not to be given a chance. Once he felt safe, he became a loving companion. But age caught up with my friend. It became too selfish for me to ask him to go on. The peace I have is that he will no longer be caught in a world he could not see, hear or understand. God speed my friend.... Tiny and I are here waiting for your spirit to make its way home once again. We love you Jake.  |

| I am so sorry for your loss. Releasing Jake from his physical pains was the most loving act you could ever do. Now, you will have your very own Yorkie guardian angel. Rest in peace, Sweet Jake.

| I'm sorry to hear about Jake, but wow, that's great that he got 10 happy years with you after such a rough early life. It's amazing what a sweet human can do for a scared furbutt that shelters want to just write off. I just love reading stories about awesome people who are able to bring out the awesome potential of dogs who had previously been held down from being the dog they could be. I know the heartbreak is so acute right now, but know in the big picture that you guys were both big winners for having each other. RIP to Jake and hugs to you, apang29.
