| Say alittle prayer for sweet Syndey I lost my sweet Sydney yesterday. She was a great pyernees. Her backend went out back in June and her vet said there wasn't anything that could be done for her. We did try high dose of predisone but we didn't see any kind of change in her. I took her to my yorkies vet yesterday to let him evaluate her and he didn't think there was anything that could be done either because her neurologic symptoms were too severe. I thought about getting her a wheelchair but that's not how she would have wanted to live. She just wanted to be outside with her goats. I've had her since she was 7 1/2 weeks and she was the best dog. At 100 lbs she was just a GENTLE GIANT. Sydney we loved you and will miss you so much especially your companion Coco. She is going to be so lost. Rest in peace my gentle giant. Last edited by anniernc; 09-23-2012 at 08:35 AM. |

| OOOHHHHHHH, my heart breaks for you and your loss of Sydney....rest assured, she is running and playing and herding a new, wonderful group of goats, where it is all for play and fun! She is having a ball, and she stops every once in a while and checks over her shoulder, looking back towards the Bridge, just waiting for you to come get her so you two can continue your New Journey together! As you knew only too well, she was a special dog, with special God given talents, and for her to no longer be able to perform as she was genetically programmed to do, she would not have wanted to continue on like that. Now she is fulfilling her talents, pain free and happy,......first comes the struggle, then the restoration.....and she is surely restored! |
