| My LilBit When does it not hurt so bad? On March 25, 2005, Lil Bit went to Rainbow Bridge. Since then Lil Bear & Shado have joined our family and brought much joy - but they aren't Lil Bit. They help to make it easier but not a day goes by that I don't think of my precious little one. He was my first Yorkie and came into my life when I was very vulnerable. He was my strength and my comfort. I miss him so much.

| I know that you are hurting, and I'm so sorry for your pain. We lost our first Yorkie on May 11th, so I know what you mean. It does still hurt every day. It helps to talk about him. this is the best place to do that. Have you set up a little memorial? Did you bury him in your yard or take his ashes? If you set aside a special place I think that helps. If you don't have either of those, maybe you could plant a tree or bush in his memory. Then, every time you look at it you'll think of him and as you watch it grow it will help your heart to heal. All you can do is wait it out. No one will take lil bit's place in your heart. And, as long as he is there he lives on. You will be in my prayers, I hope that you can replace your sad feelings with memories of the good times you had with lil bit.

| I know how you feel exactly. I don't cry over Gracie everyday now, but I miss her so much and will always love her. I find myself talking to God about her asking Him to make sure she's happy (like He wouldn't anyway!). LilBit was your baby and you will never get over the missing part, but the hurt does dull some with time.

| I'm so sorry for your loss! I've lost 2 dogs and 2 horses and it wasn't any easier with any of them. Time does dull the pain though, but you never stop thinking about them. My dog's ashes and their collars have a special place on my fireplace mantle and I think about them everyday! You are in my thoughts. |

| It gets easier - but it never gets better! Lost little Sophie in February and still cry over her at the least expected times. I find comfort in the fact that we had such a bond that I can still miss her and cry about it. Some people never get the chance to experience that kind of closeness no matter how many pets they have. We ache for you and with you - you are never alone on YT!
