| Unless she meant to be hurtful in her words I wouldn't worry much about it. Since you said she is new, maybe she was just nervous. I dunno. LOL I wouldn't think much of it though. You know that you have a purebred.

| Tank was nuetered today and they all know us except this new girl, well woman, she was in her 30 from the look of her, and they know Tanks breeder too so they KNOW his a pure breed. I always thought he looked like a yorkie to eveyone else too. OK his hair does need trimming but its just really eating at me. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Since you said she's new, maybe she's not familiar with all dogs breeds. She plain just didn't know he's a yorkie. Sure to us he looks all yorkie but when their puppies they look like little balls of fluff to people who don't know. They are soft coated and poofy and don't look like a "yorkie" with the long silky hair until they get older. I would have nicely just told her "no he's a yorkie but still has his puppy coat." People ask me about Morgan sometimes at the dog park because she's in a puppy cut and doesn't look like some of the other yorkies with the longer straight coats. Morgan has a cotton coat and has a poofy face, so to people who don't know, she doesn't look like the yorkie's they see on tv at the dog shows.

| Oh don't feel bad. You know what you have. When I had Mollie spayed the lady that brought her to me, said Oh! Look at this little creature. I was so upset, but I am over it now. She is pedigree and to me she is beautiful. She has tiny bones and thin hair. When I take her to the river everyone loves her. God bless. Jan |
