|  To Maryland & Back, 10 hours + Well, I did it! today, I drove from upstate NY to the state of Maryland to pick up my new baby, he's 1 1/2 yrs old, Yorkie silky, too cute! I'm exhausted!  I have a catahoula dog a female. when I introduced them to each other the Yorkie seemed to be yacking a storm as if he wanted to fight, is this typical behavior, I thought if you got a new dog of opposite sex it would be better. any advice!  |

| Congrats first on your new furbaby! When we brought Grayson home it took my cats a good 3 weeks to get adjusted to him being there. They were not happy at all. 6 months later Abby came home and it took about 2 weeks for Grayson to adjust. Hang in there and give them time. Make sure to give your oldest some special time so he/she dosn't feel left out.

| Give them time though my cats could care less about Grayson or abby. Abby and Grayson are the best of friends.
