| Puppy Lemon Laws by State Here is a link to a site with the outlines of Puppy Lwmon Laws in the states that currently have them. It is interesting reading for all here becuase it sort of lays out the responsibilities for the breeder and the purchaser when a puppy becomes sick. http://home.paonline.com/wudaface/LLAWSUM.HTM |

| Very interesting Kim. Thanks so much for posting that. I would like for Indiana to come with some sort of law. The only thing about the laws is of course there's no way to compensate for the loss of a beloved pet and we fall in love at first sight! But it's necessary so that people who are only in it for the money can be prosecuted if it comes to that.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Yeah, I found that link too when I was having problems with that breeder, but unfortunately, Texas doesn't have these laws.

| This is probably why the dogs cost more inthose states. If you look at what the breeder can be repsonsible for covering, it is more than the cost of the dog in a lot of cases. Ouch for the breeders in those states but it keeps them on their toes and preventing the continual breeding of certain defects. |
