How do your babies get along? Wondering if anyone has more than one dog and if so, how do they get along. I have a 1 1/2 year old Maltese and a 7 month old Yorkie. They get along and they play quite a bit; however, they never cuddle together. Do you think they will ever cuddle together, or is that just their personalities? Karen

my mother had four dogs living with her at one time, and they were all pretty solitary (she only has three right now, but its still the same way).... part of it is that the "alpha dog" isnt a cuddler, so they all tended to not be...... but ya know..... i do recall a couple times camping, if they are cold enough they will sleep together for body warmth......but in general i agree with you, it has to do with their personalities, and more so with the 'alpha dog' to dictate hwo the other dogs behave...

I have 2 yorkies,Lady who is a year old and Jessie who´s 8 months. They DO play together, but they DONT cuddle or kiss Its been over 6 months now and I thought they would end up loving each other, but I think that more than love..they just tolerate each other.Lady likes to be alone and if Jess comes anywhere near her, she´ll move away if she possibly can.Jess is a little stinker..she likes to sit ON TOP of Lady..I dont know what thats all about, but she has a habbit of plonking her little butt right on top of Lady.I think that Jess is the alpha around here.

Mojo and Byron are the best of friends. They play together, look out for each other, do bad things together and try to cover up, also together They kiss, they cry if they're apart, they cuddle, they do everything. It is amazing how good they get along...i guess i am lucky, they never had fights since the first day..

Maddie and Rudy love each other, they roll all over each other playing, eat out of the same bowl, and every so often will lay by each other. When Maddie is tiered she wants to be left alone, even by me. Rudy is more of a cuddlier than Maddie. Then there is sweet Lucky that let them do anything to her, but whe she has had enough she goes to the bedroom and Maddie and Rudy know to leave her alone..............Cindy

It took about 2 weeks before Gypsy Rose would allow the little black and tan tornado to go anywhere near her (otherwise known as Gizzie!) but now they are forever cuddled up, kiss each other, play together and they eat out of the same bowl too (although to be fair to poor Gypsy Rose I sometimes give her another bowl so that she is in with a chance, depending on what is on the menu!! I woke up this morning in the half light and they were both on the bed and it was hard to tell where one ended and the other began! They are like siamese twins. They play very roughly mind you at times!! Little Gizzie (5 months) copies everything Gyps does - this can be good or bad LOL!! Ana xx
