| Question about the ears? Are there ANY other methods rather than taping and massaging the ears that anyone has used to help the ears stand? I have tried everything above and she hates the tape and so do I. The massaging seems to be the most effective because I can tell they are coming up a bit but they seem to flop back down after a while. All responses are welcome. |

| Do you have the ears shaved, and is she teething? Sometimes when they teeth the ears won't stand up.

| Have you tried trimming the hair on the top 1/3 of the ear? We had that done to Bella and 1 is up continuously, but the other keeps flopping down.

| I have actually shaved the ears completely and they have come up a little but not all the way. I believe she is still teething as well. So I guess that could be the whole problem? So what if she doesnt stop teething until after 6 months? Does that mean that they won't stand at all? Sorry if I come off as a bit paranoid about the ears but I paid a good amount of money for her to look like "standard" Yorkies should, according to AKC, but I wont love her any less if it doesnt happen. I just want to make sure I am doing everything I possibly can to help the process. |
