V, it is so good to see you here... being back here will also help you feel better, in time...

I am very glad to see that things are getting better(slowly) for you... keep your faith and know that we are ALL here for you and so happy to see you!

Maybe having your son in the house will help the girls too!

Poor Cheri, I wish I had a cure for that.... I use the treat thing too, but what I do is scatter it on the floor and watch them scramble for it.... its cute but it also distracts them for a few seconds and I flee...

Ah Vi, I just found this thread. I so glad you posted again. It's always so good to "hear" from you. I'm so sorry for your poor broken heart. I wish I could help you.

It sounds like a good thing that your son is going to move home. Having someone around who loves you is a good thing. I hope things will start getting easier and the pain softer soon.

I'm sad to hear about your girls and your cocker. They sure feel the pain don't they. My dad's poodle had a very hard time when he left. He was laying in the bed beside him and looked for him for months after Dad went home to heaven. But after time, he stopped and settled in. Your girls will too.

Thinking about you and praying still.

It's heartbreaking when they are sad. I have no advice for you about how to prevent her from running out. I have an exercise pen opened up and dividing my living room and dining room so mine aren't even near the door because they've run out on me before. And boy are they FAST!

Dearest Villette. Remember sweet girl, "one day at a time". So glad you were able to get some medication to help you sleep, and please don't stop eating on a regular basis. Anything to keep your tummy from being empty.

Hi Vee, so glad your doing some posting...I'm not going to tell you how strong or brave you are, after all, what choice do we have when these things happen....

With the rawness still there it's perfectly understandable to be feeling everything but strong....it's been nothing but a very long month of pain for you.. It must be of some relief that your son is able to come and help out...

Always know.... we here feel your pain in our hearts....

I love this song. When my aunt passed away, she wanted this song sung, but it had not yet been released. So instead, we had the most amazing gentleman sing "You Raise Me Up" and "I Can Only Imagine". He was fabulous, I wish I had a recording of the services. I still tear up when I hear both of those songs.

Sending hugs back to you all - Thank you so much - crying again but it's only because you all are so great - I really really appreciate the support - I'm still so lost without him I just don't know how to get thru some days and other days I'm in turbo mode. The girls are adjusting - Tessa has really latched on to me again but still looks at night for her daddy - just like her mom does
