| advise I am going to be leaving to take my Dad to his Brothers funeral out of state. We will be gone for 5 or 6 days. Now my problem is that I am leaving Deiter here being where we are going family won't allow pets in there house. So Deiter will be staying with my boy friend. I am so worried, I have never left him before. Deiter is with me 7 / 24 he goes to work with me and everything. I am already sad just the thought of it. I know Bob will be good, but he doesn't play with him but about 15 min a day and that is it. He doesn't pay that much attention to Deiter, doesn't take him out like I do. Deiter doesn't bark at the door, he just comes and jumps on my chest and I know it is time to go out. So what is going to happen when I am gone. Help. I am having the anxiety attacks already and I am afraid that Deiter will have them when I am gone. So what do you guys think. Please help me.

| Can you find someone else to watch him, or maybe you can board him with a vet, or a daycare where they can give him more attention and he can play with him more and he can play with other (small) dogs like him. I understand your worry I had to leave for few days and leave my Phoebe with my hubby he is very good with her but I still worry sick, when I came back she was safe and very happy to see me, don't worry he will be fine, and very happy to see you just make sure that you leave a list of stuff that you wanted them to do with him, and a shirt with your smell so he can feel love and safe, I wish I can help you more |

| I'm sure he will be fine with your boyfriend but you can also (I'm sure) find someone on here who lives near you and would be happy to have another yorkie for a few days! If I lived in your state I would offer to help!

| I'm sure your bf will take care of him. If he starts going in the house and he has to clean it up, then he'll make sure to take him out more often. You may be surprised to see how he is with Dieter when he's all alone. Have a safe trip and don't worry.

| I know you already will, but call your bf every day and remind him that your little dude needs lots of play time and outside time

| I think you may be pleasantly surprised at how your boyfriend will be with your baby when your not around. Guaranteed your baby will be sad and your boyfriend will see that, and it will give them time to bond. I would not worry, i'm sure your boyfriend knows how much he means to you, and plus, yorkies are not the kind of dog you can ignore, they'll let you know! Everything will be fine...relax!!!

| Thanks everybody. I am just a worry wart I guess. I know when I take a shower, laundry, run some place. Deiter sits at the door until I get back. I sure don't want him sitting at the door for 5 days. If you know what I mean.
