| A sense of normalcy You guys are gonna think I'm silly, but I just have to post this. I'm an avid scrapbooker, but when we adopted Sophie, I folded my scrapbook table and put it and all my scrapbook items in the closet. I knew that I would have no time to devote to my hobby until Sophie got a little older, so I didn't want the constant tug on my life to scrapbook. Well, we've had Sophie for almost 3 months and she's just a big part of our family now. So...I'm putting my scrapbook table and supplies back out, and I hope to start working on pages again. The feeling I got when I put the table up was akin to 'giddy.' It was so funny, so touch the table and get this big thrill because not only was I going to get to scrapbook again, my life was beginning to have a semblance of 'normalcy' to it now. I'm so happy to be getting back to normal, and I hope that my post will inspire those of you who have new Yorkie babies, who wonder if life will ever return to normal again, and to also say that all those days of 24/7 being with my Yorkie and loving on her, training her have finally paid off. Wait - my life isn't normal. It's *better* than normal. I have Sophie!! |

| That is encouraging! Zowie had babies - one month ago today! For at least 4 weeks before that when she and Bronx started fighting, I feel like ALL I have time for his dogs. Not that it isn't fun. I just got home from PetSmart, buying all my weaning supplies, treats and other stuff. I do look forward to when I am not at their constant beck-n-call.

| It's funny because we've had Tucker for about 3 months, and we're going through the same thing. I didn't even notice how crazy things were until they started to settle down. Isn't it great?!

| I'm loving these posts. They bring me some *hope* that everything will calm down. I feel like we are in crazyland around here sometimes. Keeley is just so hyper and exploretive (which wouldn't be so bad if he was better potty trained) But is seems everytime I start to get stressed he pulls out the kissy card and I totally turn to mush for him. He has me wrapped around his paw. |
