Hilarious... My brother is 24 and has tons of tattoos, is a fighter, etc. He has always teased me about my animals... So when I told him I was getting Roxy, I was expecting a barrage of insults. Wouldn't ya know, the day I brought her home he fell absolutely in LOVE with her. I've never seen him be more gentle and affectionate to one of the babies! It cracks me up every time to see this big, scary looking dude all hunkered over making the smoochy face at Rox!

My husband is the same way. He is a big, strapping man who turns to mush when he is with Gracie and Sampson... Hee hee, it's pretty sweet.

My hubby let me know these were MY dogs before we started getting them. After we got Pirogue and he was so tiny, hubby was protective of him. My 3 adult sons live with us, the youngest is about to turn 19 and never been away from home. They all proclaim to love BIG dogs. My oldest even went so far as to get a Husky just to prove how much he loves big dogs. You ought to hear all 4 of these men making baby noises at my dogs. Now my oldest is finally preparing to move out and he wants to take one of my babies, I DON'T THINK SO! His dog has all mine worried anytime he's near, those feet are as big as most of their heads. And even tho Pirogue is 10#, I'm very sure that the Husky could grab him and shake him around if that was his temperament. Not to worry tho, he's just a big baby himself.
