| am I wrong? People are really upset at me right now. My niece and friend were potential new homes for pups but there has been some changes since we las spoke about pup going to them. My niece now works very long hours as a neonatal intensive care nurse and my friend just received promotion where he is required to travel alot. They don't understand that this is not good time for them to get pup. They both live alone so no one will be there to care for them. Am I wrong? Everyone thinks I'm being to picky about where the pups go. I can't let them go to a home where they will not be cared for properly. I just can't.

| You are absolutely making the right decision!! No puppy should be left alone for long hours. As a future breeder,I would have made the same decision....those are still YOUR babies and you have to what you are comfortable with and what you know is best for your puppies. Tammy |

| I think you are being responsible by monitoring where your pups go ...

| I think you have every right to be concerned about where your pups go. I would be the same way.

| Yikes, tuff situation. However, the pups HAVE to come first and you are making the right decision. Both cases aren't just "temporary" either. They should both be proud of their acommplishments.....it just doesn't leave enough time for a puppy (or adult probably). |

| I agree with you 100%, but I understand how difficult this decision must be for you. It is often difficult to do the right thing. How close (geographically) are you to them? Maybe you can hang on to the pup until their lives are more settled?? I might ask them if they are planning on having children anytime soon. I hope they would say no for the same reasons you listed. Maybe then you can explain that a puppy is a baby, with more fur! Good luck...this has to be a difficult time for you.
