| Yorkie Rescues I've been looking into adopting a yorkie from a rescue and also volunteering, its so sad to see these little babies have bad home or get euthanized because someone doesnt want to take care of their baby once the cuteness has worn off. I ask myself how can the cuteness wear off...Ive had my yorkie for almost a year now and I couldnt imagine my life without her...let alone dropping her off at a shelter so god knows what happens to her or dropping her off in a remote place. I go on these websites and read there information and it just brings me to tears. All I can picture is Jasmine and it just breaks my heart, if anyone knows anything about these rescues please try and help also there are certain websites you can go on as search engines that will donate money to the cause you select. It's such an easy thing to do. But this just breaks my heart to hear and see how many animals are euthanized a day. If I didn't have to work I would be the crazy dog lady with a bagillion animals in my house!!

| Animals are one of my weaknesses. Everytime I go to the shelters I want to take all of them home. I love animals!

| www.yorkierescuehaven.com is an awesome charity for anyone looking to donate or adopt. They often have auctions on ebay for cute beds and toys! There are also links to search engines that will donate a portion of proceeds to a charity of your choice found on the haven's site. Follow the links to popart and check out what they can do to your yorkies picture! Thanks for looking. |

| Bless your heart. I thought about rescue a yorkie before I got Momiji. I applied this one cute female yorkie but because she is from southern california and I'm in northan california, I was unable to adopt her.... So I got Momiji from a breeder. Then I try to volunteer at shelter but my concern was that my priority is my dog. I need to spend time with her before I devote extra time to other animal. So I ask if I can bring Momiji with me if I volunteer. Unfortunately no, I guess these animal may have some disseise or something that they don't want other healthy animal to catch or something... So I am not volunteering.... Good luck with volunteering!!! |

| Are there any yorkie rescue sites in Illinois? I haven't been able to find one. The closest one to me is quite a few miles away in Indiana. |
