| My Ciera has very thin hair and has never grown really well. She has really thin hair on her legs and ears. It mats easily and when you give her a bath, she is very fluffy and pretty, but after about 20 minutes she looks like she hasn't had a bath in months...LOL Just look at my Avatar. Nothing at all wrong with her though, she is all Yorkie

| I didn't see pic but if they don't have hair as a pup they won't have it as adult.. I seen yorkys bred that don't have enough hair to hold a bow as adults... Here is what I think a pup should look like as a ready to go pup to new home.. I've been breeding over 20 yrs and have seen all kinds of coats on dogs and I like this one the best.. But they are all love able.. Good luck with your new baby.. |

Your puppy is fine. Nothing looks unusual and looks like she has a slow growing silk coat. Mary

| I didn't see how old Sadie is...but I looked at her pictures and think she has a silk coat, just will take some time for it to grow in...be patient and love her. Did you happen to see her parents when you got her? What were their coats like? I think she's cute.

| Thank you for your response. Yes, I did see her parents and I'd have to say thats what sold me. Her parents are beautiful. Her parents coat is thicker than Sadies' but I'm hoping for her coat to grow in similar to theirs just maybe a little thinner. I've just been worried because her hair is shorter along her spin than the rest of her body. |
