| I need help grooming Susanah Omg she fights like you would not believe! She desperately needs to see a groomer but I am so afraid to take her to one. After reading all the horror stories on here, I don't trust they won't be mean to her. I can guarantee she won't exactly be a model client. She doesn't (and has never) bitten, but she wiggles and squirms to the point that I am seriously afraid she is going to hurt herself. I won't bathe her in the kitchen sink anymore. I now bathe her in the bathtub because that way if she wiggles out of my hands she won't have far to fall and really get hurt. She has several tiny little matted places on the insides of her hind legs that need to be cut. I am terrified of going near her with scissors! *sigh* My feisty little Poopanut.

| Kalina is just exactly the same. I gave her a bath today and she was crazzeee!!! She also has matts - she's a Dirty Furkid after all!!! I found a great groomer - she's in my area and she's on YT, so I trust her with my baby. After her first grooming she looked gorgeous for about 5 minutes. I was going to take her today to get groomed but my groomer's Yorkie died yesterday and there is no one else I trust her with.

| I got the mats cut out. I used the kind of scissors that you use to clip their nails with. They are sharp, but have a blunt tip that can't cut her. OMG it took me, my son, AND DH to hold her and get them cut out. Now she won't give any of us kisses. She is MAD. She is sitting on her bed glaring at us. I hated doing it to her, but it was WAY easier to cut them out than try to get her to be still and try and comb them out. I am worn out!

| If you want to take her to a groomer, or even see how she would react to groomer, I actually highly suggest Petco. I took Wobie there for his first grooming, because I knew the manager of the grooming department, but she said that most groomers there will work really hard to make it a good experience for the dogs. (BTW, Wobie is horrible when I try to groom him, he's like Susana, except that he DOES bite. ) These are the things that she did when Wobie and I came in for grooming, and she said most good groomers will do these things. -An hour before she even started grooming, she brought us into the grooming room and let us sit there and watch her groom some well-behaved dogs so Wobie could get used to the sights, smells, and sounds of grooming. -Then she played with Wobie for a while, gave him treats, and lots of kissies! -Then she let him smell all the equipment she'd be using. -When she started grooming, she let me stay there and hold him and give him treats. -She gave him frequent breaks so that he wouldn't get too upset. He was still horrible, and she was still tired out afterwards, but I was sooo impressed. Maybe when you look for a groomer, you can ask if they can do these things.

She is now running laps through the house at 500 mph! I wish giving her a bath made her as tired as it made me!

| Aww thank you! She is a handful and a half! 100% purebred tomboy! She is now rubbing herself all over the bed trying to wipe the clean off of her.
