| HELP! My baby is a Tazmanian Devil... when i leave the house. Does anyone else go through this? Today was especially bad...the worse yet ...he is 14 months old. Whenever I leave the house without him he will come up to the door and try to bite my ankles feet...whatever, and growl like crazy. Then i pick him up to move him away and he growls even more and tries to bite me. Its only been getting worse...today he almost drew blood...the first time he really seemed to try and bite me. It's not like I was even leaving him alone. My boyfriend was there for another hour and his sister was home all day. He will do this to other people but only when i am leaving with everyone...so its really about me. I am getting so frustrated...but then i think he must be feeling really bad to show this...soo i need help! A bit of history...he is an only child---though we are looking for another. He hasn't been fixed yet just a timing thing...we plan to shortly. I have been home most of his life or he comes into work with me often. I put him in daycare once and a while as well...so he is spoiled in that he doesnt have a tonne of time alone. Thanks...all advice is welcome!!! Diane & Carter |

| Ichabob did that too, I think it there way of showing they want to go too. mine never did it to the extreme of blood though, he also was an only child and rotten, some times my husband would give in and let him go (Iknow a no no) but he would be so proud of himself that he got his way, other times I would just pick him up give him a hug and a kiss tell him he couldn't go and tell him to guard the house, then I would pick him up open the door step out and put back in an close the door. he was find after I left, it was just knowing he couldn't go.
