| How old is the pup? I would worry about kidney failure, a severe UTI or he's trying to pass a stone. Is there an emergency vet that may be better equipped anywhere around her. The baby definately needs medical attention and FAST. Please have her get that baby somewhere quickly!! Praying for the sweet puppy.

| Have they done a blood panel, urine analysis, or an x-ray? That should have been the first place they started. Bladder stones are best treated with surgery, UTI is an infection and is treated with antibiotics.

| Wow, it almost sounds like he is trying to pass a bladder stone...This guy needs serious help...If he does have a bladder stone stuck in his urethra, he is going to need surgery to have it removed...Is he urinating? If that's what it is, he is in some serious pain...Have them check for stones...Praying for this little baby...

| A UTI is a urinary tract infection. Treated with antibiotics. If they suspected poisoning, why? Was he also pooping blood? Why are they recommending putting him to sleep, have they done any testing at all? Bladder stones and severe UTI's can be life threatening if not treated. The baby can develop sepsis (infection in the bloodstream) become very sick, dehydrated, and confused and can die. I hope she gets some answers. I hope this poor baby gets some relief soon.
