| Lifting Leg to POOP!??! It's official... Mickey is confused!!! He is about 6 1/2 months now. Just started lifting his leg to pee about 3 weeks ago. He likes to poop on tree stumps. The past two weeks, he has been literally climbing his but up on to the tree- practically doing a handstand on the tree while he poops. It's really awkward!! LOL Wellllll.... his newest thing, for the past three days- he has been lifting his leg to POOP!! I swear- he will lift his leg, just like he is peeing, and when he is done... there is a nice pile of poop! Isnt this weird?! Does anyone else's furbaby do this!?

| My yorkie would pee like that for years when on a walk.. We thought she was trying to let other dogs think there was a big dog in the area...

| Wesley definately always lifts his leg to pee, but so far he hasn't tried it when pooping. Maybe someone else here has a similar situation to yours. |

| You may have an original there Must look funny pooping with one leg lifted. Take a video. No privacy on YT for these little ones. Buddy lifts his right rear leg when he starts to pee and continues up into a complete handstand, straight up, all the while peeing. I have to get a picture of that to post. It's hysterical too. |

| edgar will lift his leg so high to pee sometimes he almost falls over. but there was another post about the leg-lifting poo'ers. edgar does it. it's not so bad if it's solid, but if it's kinda soft i always pray he doesn't get it on himself. |

| Yes....Casper needs to CRANK out his poops ! He heaves up his back leg and stands on the other three - it's hillarious ! The cranky one is like a lever, and he cranks and cranks until his poo comes out, then he takes off, as "it wasn't him !" ......We should all try and get a photo, hee hee ! pic 1: Casper below pic 2: My threesome, Tara, Casper and Tammy ! |

I have a cat the I got from a bad breeder (another story)...when I got him he didn't have a clue to use a litter box or the proper position to poo in...I kept finding poo on the floor outside of the box...til one day I found out why...the cat would lower his head til it was close to the litter and his rear was high up in the air, so when he went, it would drop outside the box....after months of this he finally figured it out...
