Thinking of getting this girl.. what is ACA reg? - YorkieTalk.com Forums

ok, this is a 2 year old girl, who is ACA registered. I don't know what that is, but she is so cute. The owner is selling her for $400, because they can't keep up with her everyday maintenece. They haven't even kept up with shots... I am not sure I should even get involved, but she's sooo cute.

ACA is the American Canine Association. My little girl is registered with them. I dont know much about the different clubs but from what I have learned on here the AKC is supposed to be the best. If you are just wanting to get her to love though who cares. She is beautiful and you are wanting to give her a good home. The only reason I registered mine was because I wanted to breed her with my male who is AKC registered and that way I could register the pups. I register them under ACA and if that bothers the buyer then thats there problem. Doesnt make them any less a full bred Yorkie.

She's very cute, and the price is right! If it seems like her personality will be a good fit for you, go for it!

Don't worry about registration if you are just wanting a great pet. Registration with one or the other organizations does not guarantee a great pet. She's adorable. If you like her, get her. She deserves a wonderful home!

skoshi is aca and you can still breed aca dogs but cant sell them for a thousands which its not about the money its about bettering the breed. but i didnt care what registry he was i love him!

What a sweetie she is. Her coloring is very nice, she justs needs some
grooming. I wouldn't hesitate, after being vet checked first of course.
Your lucky to find such a beautiful girl for a great price. If her health checks
out go for it. How could you not.
