| Question I have been offered a free white toy poodle, that is about a year old. She is the sweetest dog. My yorkie does like her. Does anyone here have a toy poodle? If so have you had any health problems with them? I wanted a Maltese, but I may take the poodle. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks |

| our MeeMaw has a toy chocolate poodle, she is GREAT! she is always happy, LOVES to play and has not had any health problems.. the only thing she ever had is that she broke her front leg when she was a baby, jumped off the bed... but since this one is older that shouldnt be a problem for you. I love Poodle personalities... good luck! d

| I had a toy poodle years back and he was precious and very very smart. If you can give him a good home that would be wonderful. |

| We had a toy poodle quite a few years ago. They are really smart and so easy to train to do just about anything.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | My Grandma had a toy poodle - she was so ahead of her time - she used to have clothes and everything for her ....this is years and YEARS ago - I remember her as being VERY Smart - and very loyal to my grandma - sadly she was attacked by a big dog as they were getting out of a car and my grandmother was never the same and passed shortly after - she loved that little dog so much. |

| I've heard poodles are very smart, family dogs.....as with any small breed they still have teeth issues just like yorkies, they have to be brushed and taken in for cleanings periodically...but I don't think you can go wrong w/ a poodle...

| Poodles are very smart and from my limited experience generally are easy to get along with. The problem is going to be convincing your Yorkie furkid to be a good citizen with his new Poodle sibling. Good luck with what ever decision you make. |

| I have a little black poodle and she's just darling. No health problems, and it's hard for them to get fleas because of that curly hair. Go for it. You'll love her.
