I had a real scare this morning. Roxy was laying beside me on her back with her head hanging off the edge of the couch. She was sleeping quietly. Then all of a sudden she kind of gasped for air. I picked her up and she was limp and her eyes were rolled back in her head. I kind of shook her. She then came around, but kind of slow. She laid back down and tried to go back to sleep, but I wouldn't let her.

She seems to be acting okay now, but it really scared me. Has this ever happened to anybody. Could she have put pressure on her trachea and couldn't get her breath by laying on her back with her head off the couch?

oh how frightening. That's never happened to me, but I bet you were scared to death. Maybe she choked a little or something. You are right to keep an eye on her. I hope she's OK.

OMG. I hope someone can help. I am very interested in what people suggest. Did you call the vet? Either way, I'm glad she's doing better now, but you still might want to give the vet a call. Better safe than sorry right?
